It was indeed a pleasure to be a part of this fascinating walk, it’s an innovative approach. I think this was managed and organized well by you guys, and hats off to that. Totally sad that I didn’t see the pump today. I got into public health because of John Snow….. Regards Dyson
I just wanted to let you know that yesterday walk was lovely, really interesting and the guide (Rosalind?), she was fantastic, answering all questions and stopping regularly to give us some bit of info not only about Snow’s work but other thing like architecture around Bloomsbury. Thanks for organising the walk and hope I can join another one in the future. Best regards, Cristina
I want to thank you very much for organising this event. It is a great walk, and Dr Ros is an amazing guide! It was extremely interesting to discover Soho through her knowledge of the people and the events of history… Best regards, Pascale
Just a quick note to say that Danielle and I really enjoyed the walk this week. Ros was full of interesting histories and anecdotes and we enjoyed her sense of humour as well. A nice evening in the city! Thanks, Antonis
Just to say how much I enjoyed the walk last Wednesday. Ros is an excellent guide who gave us plenty of interesting facts. Regards Michael Moore
Thank you for organising the walk this evening. Ros was really excellent and I did learn a lot of things about places I walk through, passed, around often. It was fascinating. Best wishes, virginia
I just wanted to write to say I really enjoyed the Dr. Snow walking tour! It was full of great information I learned so much, and Dr. Stanwell-Smith was so entertaining and knowledgeable! I hope you all can continue to be well-funded and go on to facilitate many more such events for the London community! Cheers Julie
I want to thank the school and/or organizers for giving me the opportunity to attend to this walk. Dr. Ros Stanwell-Smith guided tour through the historical parts of the area near the School could not have been better! Not only she knew ever single detail of each corner but she was full of a diversity of knowledge of medicine and history unusual to equal in any other tour…In addition, she transmitted this with an amazing sense of humor, intelligence and passion that I wouldn’t miss another tour like this. Thanks again for giving us the opportunity of such a wonderful way of learning and enjoying the History and paths of this great country and medicine. With kind regards, Magdalena Goyheneix
This is just to let you know that I enjoyed today’s historical walking tour of the area ‘Further Round the Block’ very much. It was very interesting and included things that we would never learn about, especially as some of them were based on the speaker knowing other people involved in historical events. BW Miland
